Absorbency, Shrinkage and Colour Fastness
With proper care and following recommended care instructions, shrinkage should not be a problem with Pure Zone products. All Pure Zone Waffle Robes are tested to provide lasting colour, excellent absorbency and minimal shrinkage especially in the borders. All Pure Zone fabrics are tested for shrinkage before they are manufactured so we can make the correct allowances. However, shrinkage can be up to as much as 10% and some products may seem larger when first opened, however we have allowed for shrinkage and improper care.
Shrinkage is also a factor of the way the product is washed and dried. This is dependent on the type of washing machine used (whether it’s a front or top loader), the washing cycle used, the strength of the washing cycle, water temperature and how the product is dried (line dry or machine dried).
The colour of your Waffle Robe can be maintained by not using oxidising detergents, bleaching agents or optical brighteners. Bathroom/laundry cleaning products should not come into contact with towels. Some facial cleansing solutions or hair products contain bleaching agents and can affect the colour of a your Robe.
